Within the framework of an agreement with the "Haut Commissariat des Eaux et Forêts" we obtained grounds to grow different species of aromatic herbs and the right to collect them in the natural environment.
With this convention we comit ourselves to perform our work respecting the environment and the natural resources of the area. The Bni Boufrah cooperative also takes part in a reforestation plan of the Moroccan Rif.

The two unrustable stills are located in totally closed premises.
The first still have a capacity of 1500 litres and is heated up by a direct fire system feeded with distilled plants residuous, due to the concern for the preservation of natural resources. The second still, of smaller capacity, is mainly used for experimental distillation.

The plant hand sorting/cleaning and the drying of it are carried out in specially equipped rooms. The drying room was fited out in order to respond to the cleaning standards. For instance, it was tiled to avoid dust rising, and equipped with aspirators and mosquito screens, following the advises of the CTFC (Centre Tecnològic Forestal de Catalunya).
